Oh, poor mortals, this last monday, January the 25th, one of my illusions (although I've noticed never this was really one if my illusions :S) became reality: becoming deaf while F1 single-seaters were flying in front of my eyes!! XD well, I must admit that my ears didn't suffer very much although I didn't know that have earplugs was almost a must-have order :P (advice: the nyiaaaaauuuuuu word of the post title is trying to be the noise when a single-seater passes :P).
So, please pay attention to the F1 photographs!! There are not from internet, they all are made by Julia!! :) Her videos are better because, is it possible to focus easily a F1 single-seater with a standard digital camera? the answer is: nooooooooo :S, but the environment can be noticed :P Indeed, there are so much videos than simple photographs because of this :S
Come on, then, the experience begins...
* Part I. The 80th Oscar Ceremony
Really, all the day was very special, from the sunday-to-monday night until the end of the monday :P I couldn't go to sleep because of the Oscar Ceremony!!
And I will seize the opportunity to congratulate Dario Marianelli (in the photo), the winner of the Best Score Composing Oscar for his music about Atonement film (hint: in Catalonia Atonement it's called Expiación). I'm very glad for announcing that, because my favourite candidates were Marianelli and my always-admired Michael Giacchino for Ratatouille (he is the composer for every J.J.Abrams creation, for Medal of Honor saga, and also for another Pixar production: The Incredibles).
And also, the Javier Bardem Oscar must be mentioned (although I didn't like him as an actor... but I cannot say that so loud because I would be in killing danger :P nevertheless, I didn't see No Country for Old Men, so I don't know his performance in the film, but he won an oscar, so he surely made a splendid performance...)
To finish this part, I will only say that I liked very much the performance of the conductor, John Stewart, the same who conducted the two-year-ago Oscar Ceremony. He really wasn't so clever and hilarious as in his previous appearance, but counting on the scriptwriters strike, I can't imagine a better Ceremony Scripting (it was ready in only 10 days!!), hence, congratulations John!!!
* Part II. The important thing XD
Let's go with the posting title-owner., the ultimate F1 Official Skills before the new season starting date in a few days :) After sleeping two "long" hours (XD), i woke and take the breakfast in my usual café (caffe-latte and bacon sandwich... ñaaaaam) and then, I was lead to Plaça Catalunya, the meeting point with Julia and Judith (F1 fans the two), and with Aida, our chauffeur :P Aida is a little crazy girl, but also a nice person: she doesn't like F1, but she drove the rented car (a terribly tiny Ford Ka, where I did some contorsions for entering in it XD) for allowing us the three seeing the F1 in the Circuit de Catalunya :) thanks Aida!! muaaaaaa
Well, at quarter past one p.m. the TTFK (terribly tiny Ford Ka :P) arrived in one piece (and believe me, it wasn't a easy task: Aida was possessed by a demon while she was driving!!!! she couldn't stop singing and dancing strange songs closer to satanic rites: Siniestro Total!! aaaaargh!!) at Circuit Parking. We lunched sat in stand chairs while Hamilton, Raikkonen, Michael Schumacher (yes, ihe is testing driver of Ferrari :P) and others were flyring over the circuit as so fast as possible. At this moment my iPod earphones were used as earplugs because of the huge noise of the cars, but they didn't do a good work... :S Also, I think the spanish driver... oh, what was his name, I don't remember it... well, I think he also was there... :P
After the lunch, we moved to the new chicane zone and there, I had able to discover the excellent engines of some of F1 teams, and the absolutely noisy machines from other teams :P with no doubt, the best engines are those from Ferrari, McLaren and Renault (w.r.t. the performance, not the speed capabilities). Ah! An annecdotic success: a Toro Rosso engine was broken in front of us!! OMG, what a pestilent stink!! XD Aaaaaaaand another breaking new!! I discovered at this place that Aida is ticklish! mwaaaaahahahahahhahahahaha
At 4 o'clock p.m., we took for a walk for the circuit boundaries, hearing and seeing whatever we could... the Circuit de Catalunya is really incredible, it was the first time I was there and I enjoyed very much! :) But the end of skills arrived at 5 o'clock, and then we four began the returning travel (so much quiet than the previous one XD we were tired, hehehehe).
* Part III. The multitask car :P
Taking the most of the TTFK, we went to Judity's family home for catching some things and carrying them to her new home :) And after that, we went for a napolitana and a caffe-latte for the tea time (although it was 7 o'clock XD). So, it was a complete day!! And, obviously, I slept soooo much weeeeeeeell the monday-to-tuesday night!!!!! :D
And this is all for now, the January the 25th arrived at the end :) It wasn't a bad day at all, I think ;) But that's not all, poor mortals!!! I will review soon the past wednesday, when I visited the Catalonia Television Building in Sant Joan Despí for research business :D:D So, stay tuned, and be quiet poor mortals: the compulsive impulses will lead you to the disaster!!!

Hi!!! I think that we have to talk…
First: What you want to say with “Aida is a little crazy girl”? Only a little? I´m crazy completly...juas!!! Or Are you talking about my height?? Jejejeje...:P
Second: “…Aida was possessed by a demon while she was driving!...” It´s not true! I only sing and dance a little bit while I was driving!! Just as well than my co-pilot (Júlia) is more entertaining and she was singing and dancing with me... Thanks Jul for it...XDD
Third: O.K. Do you have any problem with Siniestro Total?? It´s one of the best groups of music of all Spain!! You have a big problem with the music, little boy...
Fourth: Yeah!! I don´t like F1, if I drove even there it was to pass a good day with good company!! I enjoyed very much!! ;)
Fifth: It´s true...I have a small problem when someone want to touch me the belly or the navel… But I do not have tickling…juas!!
That´s all folks!!! See you soon!! KISSES!!!
OMG!!! what a huge comment!!!! :O Very impressive, Aida, thanks!! :D
Well, I said you are a little crazy because of my ethics... I already know that you are completely crazy :D And I also know that you are the Julia's bad influence, you really can pervert Julia's happy flower mood :P
Also, I'm very aware of my gigantic problem with music in general :P My sex-appeal includes this parameter, I'm sorry for this XDDDDDD
By the way, I'm very glad cause of you enjoyed that day as I did :) Kisses for you, for the photographer (Julia :P) and for the other victim of your madness (Judith :D)
ps: I must research more about your belly ;)
F1??? too Boring for me. Try rallying. That's real action.
About noise and smoke....haha
I am sure I've been closer to a single-seater than you.:P
Have you been to Martini Legends in Barcelona?
I was almost 20 cms from the old (and noisy too) single-seater, including one of latests f1 ferrari's.
Also, every rally fan has suffered from some small rock hits in their bodies. But that's part of rallying. Feeling close to the cars(as I've said sometimes too much...haha), hearing the sound of the braking and accelerating as they come from the mountains, under the rain, the hot sun, the snow, pushing the car when they have an off, lots of miles driven from stage to stage, and of course talking to the drivers, codrivers in the service park while you can see mechanics working in the car.
And all of this for free!!! Hahaha...
(I am sorry Marc...but We Rally fanatics need to tell these things to F1 fanatics)XDXDXD
Ouch ouch!! it's true, alex and you are real rally fanatics :D:D:D
I'm agree of everything you have said, but although I like rallies, I prefer on-line strategy on a race ('cause of this, I prefer F1 in front of MotoGP or rallyes, where the strategy is only off-line; anyway, I try to pay attention in MotoGP and rallyes too :$).
Nevertheless, if you go someday to a rally-day, tell me about it :D I maybe will be ready for go too, and then I will be able to compare the two worlds :D
I'm happy for that ;) The first assembly about engine competitions!! XD weeeeeeeee
